The FPM tee or Free Party Movement  was inspired by the biggest ever “illegal” rave to be held in the UK. The event took place at Castlemorton between the 25th to the 29th of May 1992 where its estimated that about 30,000 people turned up to party. There were 7 sound systems one of which were the  infamous Spiral Tribe who were taken to trial , it cost the UK government £4 million to do so which ended in all the members of the group being acquitted! The gathering was celebration of music ,culture and freedom and has now become a real act of essential rebellion against an overbearing government! This was the precursor to the 1994 criminal justice and public order bill which was aptly named the “Rave bill”
